Umrah group tour Makkah and Madinah

Day 1 | The long-awaited journey has arrived

Upon arrival in Jeddah, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport and escorted to a private transfer that will take you to Makkah in about an hour. Along the way, you will see the majestic clock tower looming, as well as the bustling center where the Haram is located. The clock towers 600 meters above the city of Makkah, can be seen from a distance of 25 kilometers and is the second tallest building in the Middle East after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Today is all about a soft landing in the holy city of Makkah. In the evening, you will gather as a group to get acquainted over a delicious dinner.

Day 2 | Makkah Highlights

After breakfast, we will be picked up by a professional local guide at the hotel to visit: Ghar Thour (also known as the Cave of Thawr) is an important site in Islamic history, located near Makkah. It is a cave on Mount Thawr, which has deep religious significance because of its link to the Hijra (migration) of Prophet Muhammad and his companion Abu Bakr. We also do Mount Al-Nour, or The Mountains of Light. This mountain houses the important Cave Hira where Prophet Muhammad received God's revelation through the Archangel Gabriel. After this we visit Arafat (Mount Al-Rahman and the Namerah Mosque), Muzdalifah (located between Mina and Arafat) and Mindah (Jamrart and the Al Kheef Mosque).

Today you will have plenty of time to spend the day as you wish. You can choose to spend the day at and in the Masjid al- Haram, or also called the Grand Mosque of Makkah, to perform the Umrah there. Here you will behold the Kaaba. The Tawaf and the completion of the Sa'i between Safa and Marwa are the focus of this During the Sa'i, you will also have the opportunity to see the house where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) lived in Makkah. Depending on time, crowds and your pace, you can spend the rest of the day in and around the Masjid al-Haram.

Day 5 | Ziyarah in Madinah

This day is dedicated to visiting several important sites in Madinah Al Munawara, or Ziyarah. We begin the day with a visit to Uhud Mountain, one of the main attractions of Madinah. It is "a mountain that loves us and we love it." At its foot lies the Uhud battlefield and in its soil rest the venerable martyrs. After this we will visit Al Qiblatain Mosque which witnessed the decisive moment when the Qibla direction changed from Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to Al Masjid Al Haram. The last important place that will be visited is the Masjid al-Quba for the Dhuhr prayer. You can spend the rest of the day at the Masjid al-Nabawi, where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is buried under the green dome. Please note that the Prophet's tomb is accessible to women only at certain times: after the Ishaa prayer and after the Fajr prayer.
