Member of ANVR, SGR and Calamity Fund - Our certainties

Saudiarabie.nl is part of Wereldcontact Reizen B.V. (Chamber of Commerce number 30058259) and is affiliated with the ANVR, SGR and the Calamity Fund. These are the most important quality labels in the Dutch travel world. What does this mean for you?

ANVR Membership

Saudiabia.com is a member of the ANVR. The ANVR maintains strict membership standards and promotes the quality of travel and information about it. The trips on this website are offered under the condition that the ANVR Travelers Conditions apply to all travel and offers on this website unless it is expressly stated that this is not the case. Click here for the ANVR Travelers' Conditions.

The following provisions have been adopted by Saudiarabie.nl itself. No consultation has taken place between ANVR and Consumentenbond regarding the content of these articles within the framework of the Self-Regulation Coordination Group of the Social Economic Council. Except for the deviations allowed in the terms and conditions themselves, these own stipulations cannot detract from the ANVR Travelers' Terms and Conditions and are only intended to supplement the ANVR terms and conditions where stated in the ANVR terms and conditions themselves and/or to further strengthen the position of consumers.

Following provisions

Saudiabia.com applies the ANVR Travelers Terms and Conditions. The deposit is a percentage of 25% of the travel sum. In some cases (especially with special trips and hotels) higher deposit percentages apply. In that case, you will be informed.

Cancellation up to the 42nd calendar day (excl. the day of departure) before departure: 30%
Cancellation from the 42nd calendar day (incl.) to the 21st day (excl. the day of departure) before departure: 60%
Cancellation from the 21st calendar day (inclusive) to the 7th day (excl. the day of departure) before departure: 75%
Cancellation from the 7th calendar day (incl.) to the 3rd day (excl. the day of departure) before departure: 90%
Cancellation from the 3rd day (incl.) to the day of departure: 100%

For single trips, different cancellation fees apply which we state on the written confirmation, also your invoice. If airline tickets are registered, we are forced to charge 100% of the cost of the airline ticket in case of cancellation.

The refund of airport taxes upon cancellation is excluded, as it is already included in the calculation of the cancellation fee.

In addition, different cancellation conditions may apply to certain parts of your trip, resulting in a higher percentage being payable in the event of cancellation. We will inform you about this before booking.

SGR membership

SaudiBaby.com is affiliated with SGR. You can check this at www.sgr.nl. Within the limits of the SGR-guarantee scheme, the trips published on this website are covered by SGR's guarantee, except for the flights. This SGR guarantee means that the consumer is assured that his prepaid travel money will be refunded if the other party cannot fulfill the agreed performance due to financial insolvency. Insofar as the agreement includes transportation and the destination has already been reached, the return trip will be taken care of.

Calamity Fund Membership

Saudiarabie.nl is affiliated with the Travel Guarantee Fund Foundation. Within the limits of the guarantee scheme of the Calamity Fund, the trips published on this website are covered by the guarantee of the Calamity Fund. This guarantee means that you as a consumer who participates in a trip organized by us:

  • Refund (part of) your travel sum if we are unable to carry out the trip in full or at all due to a calamity;
  • be reimbursed for necessary additional costs if we have to adjust the trip due to a calamity or if we have to repatriate you early.

Disaster means an abnormal event caused by molestation or natural disaster.

Travel documents

As a traveler, it is your responsibility to be in possession of valid travel documents upon departure and during the trip. In doing so, you should inform yourself about the most current requirements regarding your travel documents.

We can arrange your visa to Saudi Arabia. Click here. A tourist visa allows you to stay in Saudi Arabia for a maximum of 90 days within a 1-year period. In that one year, you may return multiple times. A tourist visa costs SAR 395/about €100 (depending on the daily exchange rate), including Saudi health insurance. For the application fee, we charge €25. The total visa cost is €125 per participant.

Cancellation insurance

You can insure yourself against the costs resulting from a possible cancellation by means of a cancellation insurance. This insurance covers the cancellation costs if you have to cancel the booked trip due to illness or other compelling circumstances - falling under the general conditions. The premium is 5.5% of the travel sum and € 3.50 policy cost plus insurance tax. You can contact us if you wish to take out this insurance. We highly recommend it.

Travel Insurance

If you wish, we can arrange travel insurance for you. If you have your own travel insurance (including medical expenses, personal assistance and repatriation) or a health insurance with extended foreign coverage (supplemented with personal assistance and repatriation), you should let us know, including your policy number.
