Day 1 | An enchanting introduction to Riyadh

The start of this city break is characterized by a sense of excitement as your plane calmly touches down in the bustling city of Riyadh. You will be warmly welcomed at the airport and escorted to a private transfer that will take you to your hotel, where you can freshen up.

After a delicious lunch at Najd Village, where traditional Saudi dishes will delight your taste buds, make your way to the Masmak Fort, an imposing citadel and symbol of the origins of modern Saudi Arabia. Today, the restored building serves as a museum where historical artifacts, photographs and maps from the early 20th century are on display.

Next, visit the Souq al-Zal, where you can immerse yourself in the colors, smells and sounds of a vibrant authentic market. It is the perfect place to find unique items that showcase the kingdom's rich cultural heritage.

After this, you will visit the National Museum where ancient artifacts and exhibits will take you on a journey through the history of Saudi Arabia. Right next door the discovery continues with a wander around in Murabba Palace, a royal palace and home of former King Abdulaziz Al Saud who moved there with his family in 1939.

A spiritual experience awaits you the largest mosque of Riyadh that opened since 2004 and is named after a well-known Saudi business man. Here, both Muslim and non-Muslim guests are welcome to learn a bit more about the religion.

You end the day with a visit to Riyadh Boulevard, where the city's modern flair blends with traditional charms. Here you can enjoy all the delights Saudi Arabia has to offer while soaking up the local atmosphere and immersing yourself in Riyadh's vibrant nightlife.

Day 2 | Desert adventures and historical splendor

The morning begins with a visit to the striking King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the financial heart of the city that reflects Riyadh's modernity and ambition. Here you can marvel at the skyscrapers and futuristic designs that adorn the skyline.

After visiting KAFD, the adventure really begins as you travel to the magnificent Edge of the World, a natural wonder that will take your breath away with its dramatic cliffs, panoramic views and pristine beauty. Edge of the World is one of Saudi Arabia's best-kept secrets.

After this impressive nature experience, you will return to Riyadh where you will visit Diriyah, the former capital of the first Saudi Empire and the cradle of Saudi Arabia. Here you can wander the narrow streets of the old city and feel the grandeur of the past as you explore the palaces and historic buildings. You will learn more about Saudi history at At-Turaif, an UNESCO Heritage site since 2010 and with a bit of luck see the light projections on the Salwa Palace – the largest standing structure in the citadel. You will end the day with a delicious dinner with Diriyah playing in the background as you reminisce about an unforgettable day.

Day 3 | A final look at Riyadh's beauty

On your last morning in Riyadh, you will be treated to a visit to the Kingdom Tower, an iconic symbol of the city. At 302 meters high and with 99 floors, the Kingdom Tower is Saudi Arabia's tallest skyscraper after the Abraj Al Bait tower in Mecca. The futuristic and iconic building is simply unmissable and visible from all corners of the city of Riyadh.

After this highlight, enjoy a coffee or lunch in the new modern multi-cuisine food experience between the locals.

Unfortunately, it is already time to say goodbye to Riyadh. You will be transferred to the airport by private transfer before returning to your home country.
