Spiritual trip to Madinah and Makkah

We had our entire trip organized by saoediarabie.nl. From day one everything was perfectly arranged.

On the first day, unfortunately, something went wrong due to an error by the hotel: we were assigned a room that was not suitable for someone with a disability. Thanks to the quick and decisive intervention of Jessica and Gábor this was solved immediately. With the correct room, a tray full of goodies and an invitation to a free lunch, this was more than nicely resolved.

Our personal guide in Madinah took us through the enchanting city and visited with us all the important mosques and gave clear explanations with the corresponding historical background. After a few days of rest and reflection, we were taken by cab to the train station for our train ride to Makkah.

Full of desire and excitement, we began the highlight of our trip: completing the umrah. Also in Makkah, a personal guide was waiting for us. He accompanied us to Al-Masjid al-Haram and guided us through the impressive, organized chaos full of worship and emotions. Thanks to excellent guidance, we knew exactly which duas to use when and how to perform all the rituals correctly. Then we visited the hairdresser for the traditional conclusion.

After the umrah, we had three more days to fill on our own. We used this time for worship, reflection and exploring. On the last day, the cab took us to Jeddah for the trip back to The Netherlands.

All in all, we had a wonderful and unforgettable week, always with personal attention from Jessica and Gábor.
