Day 1 | A unique desert experience

Your adventure begins with a spectacular 4×4 ride deep into the desert, traveling about 30 kilometers through the impressive dune landscape. Along the way, you’ll pass vast sandy plains and may even spot camels in the wild. At the edge of the camp, you’ll switch to a traditional mode of transportation: the camel. As the sun slowly sets, you’ll ride in peace and quiet to Oman’s most extraordinary tented camp, an experience that immediately sets the tone for your stay.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the team and given a tour of the camp, which consists of a cozy sleeping tent, a majlis (lounge), and an open-air bathroom. After a welcome drink, you’ll enjoy the peace and space around you. In the evening, the campfire is the heart of the experience: while your dinner is prepared on-site with fresh, local ingredients, you’ll dine by candlelight under an impressive starry sky.

Oman is a premier destination for stargazing thanks to its exceptionally low light pollution, high-altitude mountain landscapes, and vast, desolate deserts. Among the best locations are Wahiba Sands (with endless sand dunes), Jebel Shams (Oman’s highest mountain), and Jebel Akhdar (a high-altitude mountain plateau), where you can enjoy unparalleled views of the Milky Way.

Day 2 | A leisurely wake-up and a delicious breakfast

The next morning, you’ll wake up to complete silence, surrounded by the serene desert. A delicious fresh breakfast will be waiting for you. Afterward, you’ll have time to relax, take a short walk, or simply enjoy the surroundings before leaving the camp and returning to civilization.
