Luxury trip to AlUla and beyond

Our weekend started off on a positive note. We received a warm welcome at the airport from our guide, Abdullah, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the trip. He instantly put us at ease and gave us confidence in the experience ahead.

However, we encountered a couple of issues upon arrival at the hotel. The check-in area was extremely busy, and it took quite a long time for us to get checked in, to get our room keys, and to get our bags delivered. Our friends had no trouble with their room, but when we arrived at ours, we were disappointed to find that it was already occupied by someone else.

While the hotel sorted out the room situation, we decided to have lunch. Unfortunately, the meal wasn’t quite what I had hoped for. I informed the waitress, who said she would notify the chef, but nothing was done. After lunch, I spoke with the manager, who was very apologetic about the situation and offered to prepare some drinks and snacks for our day trip the next day.

Fortunately, things improved significantly after these early issues. A buggy picked us up after lunch, and to our pleasant surprise, we were upgraded to a suite. From that point on, everything was smooth sailing.

Abdullah was phenomenal throughout the trip. He was super flexible, managed our travel schedule with ease, and even adjusted our plans to avoid delays due to the AlUla bike race happening that weekend. Thanks to his excellent planning, we didn’t experience any long traffic waits and were able to explore various sites at a relaxed pace.

The restaurants, hotel, and overall customer service were exceptional. The staff was warm, professional, and always ready to assist. Habitas, was stunning. The peaceful atmosphere, luxurious amenities, and breathtaking views made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of AlUla. And a shout out to “Hazmi” – Brand Experience Manager – who made sure we were looked after throughout the weekend!

The destination itself was beyond our expectations. From the ancient wonders of Hegra to the serene desert landscapes, AlUla truly captivated us. We had an unforgettable weekend and are already looking forward to returning one day.
